Description
Halloween fun returns to Trinity on Wednesday, October 30, 6:00–7:30 p.m., when we, in partnership with Mills River Presbyterian Church, host Trunk-or-Treat. Taking place in Trinity’s “back yard,” the event will feature hotdogs on the grill, a campfire with marshmallow roasting, fun and games, lots of great costumes, and the big event, Trunk-or-Treat!
If you’d like to help make this fun event a success, here are a few ways you can be involved:
* Donate candy. We’re seeking donations of treats that can be given away from the decorated vehicles. Please bring bags of individually wrapped candy to the church and leave them in the donation bucket in the main office.
* Volunteer. We can use help with setup, food preparation and grilling, and cleanup. Volunteers are needed for any time period between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m., and everyone’s help is appreciated. And if you’re inspired to come in costume, even better! (If you can help out in any of the above ways, please let us know by signing up at the church or calling the church office, 692-6114.)
* Bring your car trunk and hand out treats. The best volunteer job at Trunk-or-Treat is handing out the treats from your vehicle’s trunk—if you can decorate it, it’s double the fun! (If you can provide a trunk and hand out treats, please let us know by signing up at the church or calling the church office, 692-6114.)
